Day 01: Cusco – Pisqacucho – Huayllabamba

We start the tour in the city of Cusco with the pick up in their respective hotels, to start our tour crossing the Sacred Valley of the Incas, passing by chinchero, Urubamba (capital of the sacred valley) until arriving at the city of Ollantaytambo where we will have around 30 minutes technical stop to make our last purchases. Then we continue to kilometer 82 of the railway that leads to Machupicchu and start our adventure. In the area called Pisqacucho, where after checking with the authorities of the SHMP, we will begin our trek through this section of the famous classic Inca Trail or Qapaq Ñam.

We begin our tour with the team of porters, cooks, assistants and tour guides following downstream the Wilka Mayu River or Sacred River (Vilcanota river and then Urubamba river), passing through the first archaeological site of Miskay and then having a visit to the archaeological site Of Patallacta, archaeological remains left by the Incas on their way to the sacred city of Machu Picchu. And then we have a lunch ready to taste in Tarayoc. Then we will continue our trekking to the sector of Huayllabamba. This first day We will walk through different ecological floors that will allow us to observe the variety of local flora and fauna and some archaeological vestiges and will be a calm day without much pressure to be able to adapt to the walk and then we will sleep after our dinner.

Day 02: Huayllabamba – Warmi Wañusqa pass point – Pacaymayo

We started the day with an awake and you and then respectively our breakfast in charge of our team established in our camp, prepared to face our First challenge of height, the pass point  Warmi Wañuska (4220). To reach our goal, on the way we will appreciate the different ecological floors and pass through Ayapata and Llullucha pata  with our respective breaks at each point, and this part of the trekking will enjoy the original Inca trail, from this pass, we can see the magnificent geography of The cordillera de los andes, where after a short break, we will start by a beautiful trail, our descent to Pacaymayo camp, where we have our lunch ready to taste and we will have all afternoon free and we can learn more about the local fauna ( Orchids, begonias, medicinal plants) and then overnight after our dinner.

Day 03: Paqaymayo – Open Runkurakay – Phuyupatamarka – Wiñay Wayna.

We started the day with an awake and you and then respectively our breakfast in charge of our team established in our camp site. We will leave our camp site to get our second challenge of height, the pass point of Runkurakay; Passing through the archaeological site of runkurakay where we will have a guided tour of recognition of the archaeological site, which will leave us surprised by its majesty. The ascending road to the pass point , will take us through a beautiful high Andean landscape, where the Quechua ecological floor is the protagonist. Small ponds source of life for the vicuñas that live in this sector will adorn our walk in this section of the way. After the open, we will descend from high ecological floor to subtropical zone passing through the archaeological site of Sayacmarca and arriving at Chaqui Ccocha where we will taste our lunch and then continue until arriving at the sector of Phuyupatamarka we will have the opportunity to visit the viewpoint, where we will witness a landscape Powerful, being surrounded by sacred mountains and valleys and the back of Machu Picchu mountain. We will also visit the small archaeological site of Phuyupatamarka, then take our path full of stone stairs towards the Wiñay Wayna camp. Already established in our camp we will enjoy a well-deserved rest. Dinner and overnight.

 Day 04: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes –  cusco

Departing early in the morning after a tea we head to the check point very early and go make the entrance and make a short trekking of 3 hours we will arrive at Inti Punku, the entrance gate to the Inca city of Machupicchu one of the 7 wonders Of the world. We will visit this archaeological site guided tour visiting sacred temples terraces, water fountains, astronomical observatories, shrines, study sites; Are the evidences of what was this wonderful place, filling it with magic and a special spirit.

After this fantastics adventures we will take our way back to the city of Cusco taking a bus down from the citadel of Machupicchu to machupicchu town and then we will take our train from Aguas Calientes to the train station ollantaytamo or poroy and at our train station Transportation will pick us up to head to Cusco.
