FIRST DAY:

Cusco-Santa Maria: Biking. (B) = (L) = lunch / (D) = dinner

I pick up at 7:00 a.m. at the place indicated by the Travel Agency one day before the tour, then we will go in a private car (1:30 hrs) to Ollantaytambo where we will have a short stop to use the toilets. Acquire snack. Then we will continue (01.30 hrs) total (03hrs) towards Abra Málaga (4,316 masl) (14,160 feet above sea level) highest point of the journey we will descend for 5 more minutes and there will be the starting point of our tour By bicycle, after a briefing by our guide, the passenger will be provided with the most complete equipment for this type of activity, we will begin the descent by bicycle for 3 hours (47km) to the town of Huamanmarca, (1888 masl). Then we will go to the town of Santa María (1200 masl) (30 minutes by car) where we will have our first lunch; We will spend our first night in a basic lodging, during the trip we will experience the beauty of the snow-capped mountains, changing rapidly from dry and cold weather to hot and humid. Once we arrive in Santa María we will have the option of doing Rafting class III and IV¬ (extra tour) in the Urubamba river that crosses this part of the jungle.

SECOND DAY: Santa María – Santa Teresa: Trekking. (B) = breakfast / (L) = lunch / (D) = dinner

After a rich breakfast, at 6:30 a.m. approx. We will be ready to do the first day of trekking towards Santa Teresa. The first 02 hours of our tour will be flat, on the way we will have a lot of vegetation and a variety of plantations of products from the area and then the next 02 hours will be uphill and we will have several stops to learn a little more about the richness in flora and fauna of the area in which we will find ourselves, one of them will be in a family house where we will relax for about 20 minutes here we will also be able to stock up on water and some delicious tropical fruits from the area, later on we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that Formerly it connected the sacred city of the Incas Machupicchu with the city of Vilcabamba here our guide will explain a little more about the history of the Incas and also the communication system they had in those times, at this point we will also have some of the most impressive views of the entire Huancarccasa canyon, then we will descend for 01 hura to the town of Quellomayo where we will stop for lunch, after a day delicious lunch and a restful rest in the hammocks of our restaurant we will continue with the last 02 hours of walking to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will have a good time to enjoy this very special place, after the thermal baths we will go to our destination Finally, the town of Santa Teresa, where we will spend our second night in a basic lodging.

THIRD DAY: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: Trekking. (B) = breakfast / (L) = lunch / (D) = dinner

After our breakfast, at 7:00 a.m. approx. We will start the trekking towards the town of Aguas Calientes, first we will walk for 3 hours through the Aobamba valley to the sector called Intihuatana where we will pass a small government control then continue to Inka Rakay where we will enjoy our lunch on this journey we will see a series of waterfalls and we will also have the opportunity to contemplate the majestic mountains Machupicchu and Haynapicchu as well as the Intihuatana or sundial that will be seen at the top of the mountain and other constructions of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu after the last 2 hours of walking will be next to the railway line to the town of Aguas Calientes.

FOURTH DAY: Machupicchu (B) = breakfast.

This is the most important day of the tour, the day we will arrive at one of the 7 wonders of the world, our last day of the tour starts very early to appreciate the sunrise at the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, we will start the climb at 4: 30 am It will be 01 hour and a half walk to the citadel of Machupicchu and we will have a tour with our guide for 02 hours through the most important buildings and temples of this city, then you will have time to explore Machupicchu on your own and perhaps climb the Huaynapicchu mountain or Machupicchu and other places of interest. Later it will be the return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollanta or Cusco.
