DAY 1:

  • 4:40-5:00 a.m. Pick up from the hotel Departure by bus from Cusco
  • 07:00 a.m. Breakfast.
  • 10:00 am Start of the walk in the control.
  • 11:30 a.m. Arrival at Cerro Vinicunca “Montaña Acoiris”
  • 2:30 p.m. Lunch in cusipata.
  • 6:30 p.m. Arrival to Cuzco.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: Cusco – Cusipata – (beginning of the trek) – Cerro vinincunca “RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

MAXIMUM ALTITUDE: 5200 masl MINIMUM ALTITUDE: 4700 masl We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 04:40 a.m. to 05:00 a.m. to go by minivan to the south valley of Cusco, following the town of Cusipata (3310 masl) where We’ll stop for breakfast. And then 1.20 hours until the control of the mountain of colors, beginning of our trek at 4700 m.a.s.l. where we will take a brief information from the guide and then to start walking. Along the way we enjoy fantastic views of the Apu Ausangate (6384 meters above sea level) passing through impressive landscapes and small high altitude lagoons. Until we reach the foot of the Vinicunca hill from where we will be 400 meters away to reach the highest point 5200 meters above sea level (total walking time 2:40 hours). After taking our photos, we will return along the same path and if the tourist wants to go to the Red Valley, they can coordinate with the guide because it is an extra walk and that will depend a lot on the physical condition of the tourist where a comforting lunch and our bus will wait for us. to return to Cusco.
