WAQRAPUKARA FULL DAY

The word Waqrapukara is a Quechua word: Waqra = Horn, Pucara = Fortress.

The residents of Llamapuka assure that they are not horns but rather the upright ears of a llama that alerts the presence of foreigners.

It is divided into 2 parts: The upper part where the rocky spur is located where you can see 2 enclosures separated by a central space, we can also see niches and portals, all these constructions have ceremonial functionality.

The lowest part made up of Inca terraces, 5 enclosures and niches.
