The One Day Tour to Machupicchu (Machu Picchu full day), connects the city of Cusco with the Inca city of Machu Picchu by a railway that joins both tourist centers. The trip lasts approximately two hours from Cusco to Ollantaytambo (train station) where we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, through Andean landscapes, beautiful valleys and spectacular views of the Sacred Valley and in the distance we can see the Peruvian Andes.

This route from Cusco to Machu Picchu covers a distance of 40 kilometers, with daily frequencies and numerous options in terms of schedules, categories and services regarding the Train to Machu Picchu.

The Tour to Machu Picchu begins very early with the pick up from your hotel and transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station in a tourist transport, then we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, a town that is close to the Inca citadel of Machupicchu.

The train trip lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Throughout the trip we will be able to appreciate impressive views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas with its landscapes of snow-capped mountains, impressive landscapes of the Andean valleys and along the route he will accompany us the sacred river of the Incas the Vilcanota or Urubamba river.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will be waiting for you and then we will go to take the bus that connects Aguas Calientes with the majestic Machu Picchu, this section lasts 25 minutes. Once there you can enjoy a guided tour for 2 hours where you will explore the most important and interesting places in Machupicchu.

Machu Picchu is one of the wonders of the world that is strategically located on top of the mountain of Machu Picchu (Old Mountain), 2,450 meters above sea level (7,710 feet) on the side of Huaynapicchu Mountain (young mountain) in the western slope of the Cordillera del Vilcabamba. The Vilcabamba Mountain Range of the Peruvian Andes is bordered by the Urubamba River.

The Sanctuary of Machu Picchu is specifically located in the Urubamba River Valley (also known as Vilcanota) in the lower part of the sacred valley of the Incas, where you can access the high jungle.

In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo where our transport will be waiting for us to return to the city of Cusco.
