Mystical and legendary Inca Trail or Qapaq Ñam begins in the city of Cusco, the navel of the world, it has its extension in South America from Pasto (Colombia) to the Maule River in (Chile), crossing the mountain coast and jungle through the Andes mountains. The classic Inca trail to Machupicchu 4 days three nights, is on the road of this majestic Inca trail. The path we will travel will take us to the magnificent sacred city of Machupicchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world on a journey where history, archaeology, geography, local flora and fauna. Along the way we will learn more about the immense Inca technology embodied in the Inca walls that our professional tourism guide will share with us his extensive knowledge in his area, of this incredible classic Inca road located between the mountains. Leaving in its wake, evidence of its majesty.

ITINERARY:

This is the short version of the famous and wonderful Inca Trail for those who have less time available but do not want to miss this unique journey. We start at km. 104 and we walk to the Wiñahuayna complex, then we continue to Inti Punku at 2,650 meters above sea level, from where we will see an impressive sunset and then we continue to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night. Early the next day we start the visit to the city of Machu Picchu.

DAY 1: CUSCO – WIÑAYWAYNA – AGUAS CALIENTES (L) (D):
Pick up from the hotel very early in the morning to the station where we will board the train that will take us to km. 104, to then start our walk from the Archaeological group of Chachabamba which is located at 2250 m.a.s.l. where our guide will lead us through the complex until we reach Wiñay wuayna agricultural center. During the journey you will be able to appreciate the beautiful views of the Urubamba River as well as the different types of orchids that you will find along the way. After seeing the magnificent scenery that the Inca Trail offers us, we will take a short break to have lunch and continue with our walk to Machupicchu and be able to appreciate the beautiful sunset over the Inti Punku (gate of the sun) after this unforgettable experience we will descend until we reach hot waters

DAY 2: MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO (B):
After breakfast we leave by hot water bus to the citadel of Machupicchu that will take us in 25 minutes and then we will visit the archaeological complex of Machupicchu (2400 m) our guided tour will last approximately 2 hours around the surroundings of the Inca citadel, visiting the main sites such as: the enclosures, squares, Sacred Fountains, Temples, the agricultural and urban sector. After our visit we will return to Aguas Calientes to board the train that will take us to Cusco. End of our services.
